…yeah, so… been a while since last update, was really hoping to have splendid news… WROOONG!
This Sunday in hospital again suspecting what we have be desperately trying to avoid, keeping Liv home - since last year and infections - to protect her as much as possible so we wouldn’t get off the kidney transplant waiting list… But nooooo, of course we had to be blessed by the universe with another staph infection (her 6th now?)♂️
And so, we got started on yet another 3+ weeks of Vancomycin antibiotics treatment… we came home, Liv didn’t get better, didn’t want to eat or drink, then kept throwing everything up… so back today, worrying some stomach bug… it turned out her new infection + antibiotics made her get dehydrated (together with her dialysis)… on a positive note, the antibiotics is working So now we are here for a day or two while Liv is getting IV fluids to get her back on track…
This little girl have now been through everything she possibly can and she is still trooping on, her parents too, just very, very tired and ready to give. I keep saying I can’t do this shit anymore, I can’t, the amount of work we have to do is relentless and constant, and not one break yet… it feels, for me, its been the bloody coronavirus circus for almost 7 years now….
But somehow you get through it like everything else before… but it also takes its tolls now… I’m sure there is a brain aneurysm waiting for me down the line! Anyway, I’m rambling and the universe is indifferent, but for those of you who’s still here ❤️
